Bradley Cooper is putting the persistent plastic surgery rumors to rest. The 51-year-old actor addressed the speculation on the SmartLess podcast, revealing that fans have recently approached him to comment on his appearance. “Some people came up to me the last couple weeks,” Cooper shared, “‘Oh, you look good!’” This prompted him to finally respond publicly, clarifying that he has not undergone any plastic surgery.
The topic of Cooper’s appearance has been a recurring point of discussion, particularly after his transformative performance in Maestro (2023), where he wore a prosthetic nose to portray legendary composer Leonard Bernstein. The creative choice drew criticism and forced Cooper to explain the artistic reasoning behind the prosthetic. “My nose is very similar to Lenny, actually,” he said during a CBS Mornings interview at the time. “The prosthetic is like a silk sheet… the truth is I’ve done this whole project out of love.”
On the podcast, fellow actor Will Arnett emphasized the absurdity of the rumors, stating that “everybody thinks that Bradley’s had plastic surgery… Of course, he hasn’t!” Cooper’s candid response marks the first time he has publicly weighed in on the speculation.

Aside from his professional work, Cooper continues to balance his personal life. He co-parents his 8-year-old daughter, Lea, with ex Irina Shayk, and has been romantically linked to model Gigi Hadid since 2023.
With this clarification, Cooper hopes the focus will return to his craft rather than the persistent chatter about his appearance. Fans can now celebrate the actor’s commitment to his roles, including his transformative work in Maestro, without the cloud of unnecessary speculation.
